Moving Women present: The Trunk Show

Shoes. Photos. Letters. Memories. Secrets. What do you hold on to? What do you move? What moves you? In their upcoming dance theater production, Moving Women travels through these questions with both sincerity and comical honesty.
The show includes 3 premiere works and features a diverse line-up ranging from introspective modern dance to abstract butoh-inspired movement to dance theatre to slapstick comedy.
In addition to the founding members of Moving Women--Kathy Meyers, Jenni Cockrell, Katherine Dowdney and Erin Braasch, "The Trunk Show" will feature guest performers, Jessica Sehested, Erik Moellering, Beth Chepke and Julie Becton Gillum, along with the poetry of Carlie Ramer and Erik Moelleing.
7:30 shows run Thursdays through Sundays, March 18, 19, 20 and 25, 26, 27.
Tickets are $15 and available online, www.ncstage.org, or by calling NC Stage Company, 350-9090. Thursday the 18th is pay-what-you-can night, minimum $6, exact change required.
